Aliens: Fireteam Elite "Gift Of Fire: Recon" Livestream replay!
131 viewsI played Mission 3.1 for the first time during my August 13th livestream: once as Standard, then right away again on Intense mode... and this is the replay of my Intense run! No previews, videos, screenshots or walkthroughs prior to playing, played it twice and finished both times! Unlike previous livestreams, this time I did NOT play any shooters prior to Aliens so there was no warmup! The mission CR is recommended at 600, and as you can see in the video my CR was 660 which compensates for the synth teammates which are "not recommended" for Intense difficulty! Also this was the first time I played with the Technician loadout during a livestream! And honestly, I'm really liking it! The livestream was about 4 hours and ended with Aliens FTE with these 2 missions (3.1 on Standard then on Intense) by the time I finished my livestream it was about 2am Eastern Time whew!! Also for the fans with attention to detail, you'll notice some spots where the audio is a little glitchy.. I had a technical SNAFU during my stream and my mic audio was offset by about half a second, so I had to go through the video and sync it back up manually throughout the 30 minute video. Aliens: Fireteam Elite "The Gift Of Fire: Advance" Livestream replay!
138 viewsFrom my August 27th livestream, I played Mission 3.2 twice and beat it both times... first on Standard, then again on Intense.. but unlike my 3.1 game, this time around the first playthrough was more entertaining than the second. So even though Intense is definitely a harder game, I think for the entertainment value the first playthrough was a little better. You also get the benefit of seeing my initial reactions to the new level that I'd never seen before. I started Aliens at about 2:15am ET after a few hours livestreaming other games so I was pretty tired (another reason why playing it again on Intense was kinda meh) Like for 3.1 I did NOT play any shooters prior to Aliens so there was no warmup! The mission Combat Rating (CR) for Standard is admittedly quite low at 350 and mine was 645 -- a little less than double. Thankfully I didn't get downed, nor did my synth team... I should hope not with a CR of 645! I also chose Technician loadout again like in 3.1.
